The customer is required to pay 30% of the total package cost in advance for booking confirmation. The booking amount is totally non-refundable. Customers are therefore advised to confirm their tour only after completing their own travel ticket arrangements. Rainbow Kayaks does not deal in train tickets, including Opening or Tatkal tickets. The remaining balance must be paid at the time of the first hotel check-in.

If a customer is paying the booking amount or package cost in installments, each installment must be paid on the date specified by Rainbow Kayaks. Delay or failure to make payment within the agreed time may result in cancellation of the booking.

After check-in, customers must follow all rules and regulations of the hotel, resort, homestay or other accommodation property. Any damage to property caused by the customer or members of their group may result in penalty or recovery charges according to the respective property's rules.

No compensation will be payable for minor changes to the tour programme. Minor changes may include minimal changes to departure or arrival times, changes in the type of restaurant, or changes in accommodation to a comparable or superior standard.

Any additional expenses arising due to natural disasters, severe weather, landslides, floods, road closures or other unforeseen natural events shall be borne by the customer. Rainbow Kayaks shall not be responsible for such additional charges or expenses.

If a customer wishes to cancel a holiday package, Rainbow Kayaks must be informed at least 30 days before the scheduled journey. Cancellation requests received after this period may not be eligible for a refund. In case of cancellation, customers may request to postpone their journey date within a period of 6 months, subject to availability and applicable conditions.

If a transport vehicle fails during transit, Rainbow Kayaks will make arrangements for a spare or replacement vehicle where reasonably possible. Customers may be required to wait until the replacement transport arrives. Such situations may cause unavoidable delays to the itinerary.

If a tour has to be cancelled due to a natural calamity or other major natural event, a 20% cancellation charge of the total tour cost will apply.

Any extra meals, additional viewpoints, monument visits, entry fees, adventure activities, ropeway charges or similar amusement and activity fees that are not included in the itinerary shall be paid directly by the customer. Rainbow Kayaks shall not be liable for these additional expenses.

Any sudden decision, change of plan or personal choice made by the customer during the tour that is outside the agreed itinerary is the customer's own responsibility. Any resulting additional costs, delays or changes shall be borne by the customer.

Rainbow Kayaks does not own or operate its own buses, trains, hotels, aircraft or other third-party transportation and accommodation facilities. We coordinate tours through government-approved local transport operators and hotel owners/service providers.

We will make every possible effort to make your journey comfortable and to follow the planned schedule. However, Rainbow Kayaks shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, route changes, schedule changes or programme modifications caused by third-party service providers, government authorities, weather conditions, natural disasters or other circumstances beyond our control.

The organization shall not be responsible for accidents, injuries, loss, damage or other incidents arising during the tour to the extent permitted by applicable law. Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of themselves and their belongings during the journey.

Due to unavoidable circumstances, the itinerary may be changed, enlarged, shortened or modified. Rainbow Kayaks will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement where possible. The organization shall not be liable if a specified destination or activity cannot be reached at the scheduled place, date or time due to unavoidable circumstances.

Child and infant charges, meals, extra beds and accommodation are subject to the policies of the respective hotel and service provider. Generally, children below 5 years may travel free, while children aged 5–8 years may be charged approximately 50% of the applicable fare. Final charges will depend on the child's age, Government-issued ID/KYC documents and the services required.
